What is "Snospar"?
Snospar is just a word, pronounced snow-spar (rhymes with go-far). It started out life as an anagram; the name of a character in a science fiction comic strip "Ani Snospar". Since then it's been used more as an identity, in a company name, a domain name and several e-mail addresses.
Whilst Snospar may be just a word, it is one of those words that rolls nicely off the tongue. Bearing in mind that it has no real meaning, it's syllables make it sound somewhat nordic - perhaps relating to "the-snow-on-the-spars". Does that conjour up a picture of silent, snow covered pines?
Or is it simply a collection of letters that go well together? It certainly doesn't serve any purpose, at the moment, other than to provide a unique name for this website and related e-mail addresses. As an internet handle or identity it's easy to remember and use; much easier than, for example, "jpar12987".
